We accept unsolicited proposals only from 501(c)(3) public charities; all other organizations, including government agencies, should call before applying.

Guidelines and applications vary by geographic and program area, so click the appropriate program area at left to begin.

Proposals are reviewed at the foundation’s March, July and November board meetings. To be reviewed for a specific board meeting, your complete proposal must be submitted via the online system by midnight ET on the following deadlines:

• Friday, July 30, 2010 for review in November 2010
• Friday, December 3, 2010 for review in March 2011
• Friday, April 1, 2011 for review in July 2011
