Sandra Scheinfeld
Sandra, a consultant to the foundation since 1996, documents the development of the University of Chicago Environmental Studies undergraduate program for the foundation. Sandra is a freelance documenter and began reporting on the implementation and outcomes of "cutting edge" projects for not-for-profit organizations in 1988. Since then she has documented a variety of education, community development, economic development, and health care projects. She has been a consultant to the Chicago Community Trust, the Ms. Foundation, the Aspen Institute, and the Chicago Park District. She holds a B.A. and an M.A. in geography from Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand, and a Ph.D. in geography from the University of Chicago. She currently serves on the boards of the Woodstock Institute and the Land Conservancy of McHenry County.
